DELIVERY INFORMATION
  • All cargo is to be delivered to the Chandlery Warehouse (Airport Road)

  • Cargo can only be accepted between the receiving dates and Chandlery opening times: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 7pm, Sat 9am - 5pm, Sun 10am - 5pm.  Please note that shippers delivering after 5 on weekdays or on the weekend may have to wait for a member of the Chandlery staff to become available.

  • Persons delivering volumes of goods over 0.5 cbm are requested to phone ahead on 22714 to ensure someone is easily available to assist them and speed up the delivery

  • Delivered goods should be adequately packed for containerisation.  In addition, all goods should, where practical, be marked with the initials of the person and Island they are destined for.

  • Due to goods being transported by road to New Haven, shipment of frozen and chilled goods is not encouraged (particularly in the summer) as goods could be out of a freezer for some time.  It is hoped to make arrangements to more adequately cater to frozen and chilled and trial this before customers are recommended to take up the service.

  • Should you have any doubts or require any information please feel free to contact Hamish on Teresa on 22341 or by email .

  • People delivering cargo should either have completed an existing Coastal Shipping delivery note form  or a Goodwin Offshore Delivery Note.  A delivery note can be completed by the person delivering goods when they arrive with the cargo. Click here to download a delivery note (16.52KB) and instructions (27.5KB)

Prices and Invoicing (Updated 22/9/08)

  • The price for freight and consolidation is £34.10 per cubic metre

  • Payment for freight requires to be made upon receipt of cargo, and payment should be made by cheque (made out to Goodwin Offshore Ltd) and handed to the Bosun on delivery of Goods

  • Alternatively, payment can be made by bank transfer but only by prior arrangement to enable us to inform the Bosun that payment has been arranged.

  • For those customers who have a direct debit facility on their Chandlery accounts we can charge freight to that account and notify the Bosun that payment has been arranged.

  • Senders must arrange for large vehicles (Cars, Land Rovers, Tractors etc) to be delivered straight to the Concordia Bay, either in Stanley or New Haven.  These will be charged a flat rate of £50 per vehicle.
  • Small vehicles (Motorbikes, Quad Bikes, etc) can go through the consolidated system and delivery must be arranged with Goodwin offshore as per normal consolidated cargo.  They will be charged at the usual consolidation rate.
